Itsperfect launches new omnichannel retail POS system for brand stores

Walk through the main shopping street of any medium-sized city and it becomes clear: more and more fashion brands are opening their own stores. It’s no longer just digital-native brands moving from “clicks” to “bricks” – traditional wholesalers are also recognizing the value of a flagship store for brand experience and customer loyalty. To support this shift and help brands strengthen their omnichannel presence, Itsperfect is introducing its new Point of Sale (POS) for brand stores.

With this new POS, the Dutch market leader in fashion ERP software responds directly to the growing demand for integrated retail processes, where physical stores and online channels operate as one.

Bringing separate sales channels into one omnichannel experience

For many fashion brands, this is still a challenge: multiple sales channels that exist side by side, but aren’t fully connected.

Itsperfect takes a different approach. While many ERP systems rely on integrations with external retail solutions, Itsperfect developed its own retail module eight years ago. The key benefit is a single system that holds all data in one place – a single source of truth for customer data, orders, and returns. Information flows in real time between the back office and the point of sale, in both directions.

This not only saves time and costs, but also reduces dependency on third parties and avoids issues caused by unsynchronized data.

In practice, this means store staff can instantly access online order information. Customers who purchase online can easily return or exchange items in-store. And if a product is unavailable in-store, it can still be shipped directly to the customer’s home via drop shipment.

Greater flexibility on the sales floor

The new retail POS system is built with store associates in mind. Its interface is intuitive – similar to a web store – with a clean look and feel and a smooth checkout experience.

Sales associates can switch easily between different sales scenarios, from in-store purchases to click & collect, ship-from-store, and returns. Features such as reason-based discounts and the option to work in dark or light mode further support ease of use. The fashion POS can also be fully tailored to reflect your brand identity and runs on any device.

The system also supports a range of modern retail processes, including:

  • Picking and shipping online orders from the store
  • Issuing and redeeming gift cards
  • Sending digital receipts
  • Processing refunds via debit card

Real-time visibility as a management tool

A central element of the POS is real-time data processing, with all transactions instantly recorded in Itsperfect’s ERP system.

This provides brands with up-to-date insight into sales performance, inventory levels, and customer behavior. Through dashboards, users with the right permissions can immediately monitor what’s happening in-store, with access to receipts across all locations.

Inventory management becomes more straightforward as well. Store teams can check stock at other locations, move items between stores, and respond quickly to availability. Webshop stock is visible in real time at the register, while in-store inventory can also be shown online for drop shipment and click & collect. This ensures a fully connected omnichannel experience – all supported by appropriate authorization settings and logging.

Omnichannel in action

The real strength of the new retail POS system lies in how omnichannel retail is applied in day-to-day operations.

Capabilities such as click & collect, ship-from-store, and inter-store transfers are fully embedded into everyday workflows. For example, stores receive notifications when a webshop order needs to be prepared for shipment. This removes the need for brands to connect multiple separate systems.

Promotions – such as volume discounts or bundle offers – can also be applied consistently across both online and offline channels.

A retail POS system part of a broader ERP platform

As mentioned earlier, the retail POS system is not a standalone product, but part of Itsperfect’s wider ERP platform, developed specifically for fashion brands.
